Anthem takes over TNA
In various new reports it has been noted that Anthem, the parent company of the Fight Network has taken over TNA Impact Wrestling.
Ed Nordholm, General Counsel of Anthem Media Group Inc. now overseas all major decisions in the TNA’s board of directors.
Dixie Carter is still on board but it’s believed that she has no more power at all and Anthem hold 50-52% of the company.
According to the official statement on impactwrestling.com, Billy Corgan is no longer with the company but the lawsuit is still running and Corgan noted that he has not been paid yet.
Also, the Smashing Pumpkins frontman wrote on twitter that he now could turn his loan in to 36% equity stake because he was not paid on time.
So the case between TNA, Anthem/Fight Network and Billy Corgan is far from over.
